"I've come up to, if you're given a job, you gotta do it, 100 percent, not because you don't want to," Rusin said. The last time he didn't get his mail, it was from the IRS. Rusin is a disabled veteran and receives medication in the mail. “I pay for a service, I expect that service." "There's a postal creed and it doesn't say anything about them not coming to nudist resorts,” Rusin said. Leonard Rusin was tired of not getting important packages delivered to his home. Residents behind the gated community in Eden RV Resort and City Retreat, a single-family home community, said the problem has gone on for months, and only every time one particular carrier is working. The nudists said one carrier refuses to deliver mail inside their community because people are not wearing clothes. Maybe not the best home base if you're looking for an outpost for sight-seeing, but a really good bet if you simply want a few quiet days in a truly beautiful place - along with the modern amenities for comfort.HUDSON, FL (WFLA/CNN) - A nudist community in Florida is picking a fight with the postal service. Seems this place has quite a strong following as they were already busy preparing for the upcoming New Years Eve party. There are a couple of rental units which look to be modern and well appointed, and plenty of space for camping. There was only one other guest during our visit in the days before Christmas, so things were pretty laid-back. We particularly enjoyed the owners, Ian and Yolanda, who sat with us for a while during lunch on the veranda - with a meal beautifully prepared by Yolanda. Once you arrive, you find a peaceful little valley with lots of space to enjoy in the wilderness au naturel, including a couple walking trails that lead you into the rain forest. We only made a day visit, having heard that this one a "naturist place we should see." As other travelers have noted, the journey in on the 3 km dirt track was a bit of a challenge in our little, rented Hyundai, (Don't tell the rental company - as such travel is explicitly forbidden in most car rental contracts) but given the dry weather conditions, we never seriously worried about getting stuck. It was my fist time, but it won't be my last ! Great stay, thanks Ian and Yolanda… I even went in the pool, although I didn't last long in there :) Ian and Yolanda are great hosts and Yolanda's meals are delicious ! Although a regular at the local clothing optional beaches, it was my first time at a Naturist Resort and they made it very easy. Amenities were clean and close by the chalet, making for a very comfortable stay. The bush is spectacular and the falls were running well due to the rains. The weather wasn't super, but it was certainly warm enough for this Victorian to spend the time au-naturel. I stayed in the chalet, which was very comfortable and after a couple of weeks in a swag under a tarp, listening to the rain on the roof was very pleasant, as was the walk in the rainforest. The road as far as the bridge posed no problems for the HiLux. The recent heavy rains had washed out the final bridge, so I took up the offer of the "transfer service" (ie Ian and Yolanda helped me carry my stuff in and out. After a busy couple of weeks fencing nearby with BlazeAid, a few days here was just what the doctor ordered before I headed home.
